Renewal Process

Renewal Criteria:
The scholarship is renewable each semester (for a maximum of three years) contingent on the following:

• Must meet with Dorrance Advisor at the beginning of the each semester to review all scholarship requirements. Student must also meet with the Advisor monthly during the semester at the Advisor’s discretion.
• Must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours within the academic year (fall and spring semesters).
• Student at South Mountain CC is required to submit to Christopher Erran, student at Phoenix, Glendale or Mesa is required to submit to the Arizona Community Foundation a one page end of year report by May 1st.
• Student at South Mountain CC is required to submit to Christopher Erran, student at Phoenix, Glendale or Mesa is required to submit to the Arizona Community Foundation a completed renewal form by May 1st.
• Student must maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
• Student must complete a minimum of 4 volunteer hours per academic year.
• Student must continue to demonstrate financial need by completing a FAFSA annually.
• In addition to any other terms and conditions, the number and amount of all Arizona Community Foundation scholarship awards and renewals is contingent on the availability of funding.
